The 5000S Sidekick is an upward striking pedal that's perfect for cocktail set-ups or for adding a new kick sound to any drum kit. It's firmly supported by a 1/2" rod that conveniently slips into any DW TB12 floor tom bracket and its unique rope drive feels natural and effortless. It boasts standard 5000 Series features such as a Delta ball bearing hinge, slotted stroke adjustment and 101 2-way beater. Add one to a 16" or 18" floor tom for an alternate wide-open tone.
Rope Drive System - Creates a smooth and direct relationship with the footboard while allowing maximum flexibility.
Delta Ball-Bearing Hinge - A state-of-the-art lightweight aluminum design that incorporates ball bearings at both sides.
Bearing Spring Rocker Assembly and 101 2-Way Beater - Conveniently mounted to a 1/2" rod the size of a floor tom leg.
